It's been awhile since my last post, two years in fact. I know no one reads my blog anyway but sometimes I visit here just to walk down the memory lane for fun. So I guess one update or two are necessary to see how far I've become since the last time.
So many things have changed and I am very grateful and thankful for each one of it. So here's some quick updates;
I am officially a Bachelor of Computer, after months of struggle, I finally passed the thesis defense with an A. It's unexpected actually, since my goal when I was trying to finish it is: I. just. want. to. fucking. graduate. My dosen pembimbing, passed away less than a week before my thesis defense so it postponed for two weeks. If you ask me to list down kindest people in my life, Pak Sigit Surendra will definitely make it to the list. I owe him a lot. Rest in peace, Pak Sigit.
Anyhow, another lecturer assigned as my dosen pembimbing, he knew zero thing about my thesis so if he stay silent during my defense was actually helping me, let alone asking me or helping me. During the thesis defense there's one lecturer who's quite persistent about his questions and then there's me who's quite clueless about his questions and what to answer. But I got an A anyway, Alhamdulillah. I honestly think it was all in Allah that made all of this possible. So yeah, I am officially Larasati Dewi Ayu Lestari, S.Kom. :)

I landed myself a job even before my graduation, 2 months before grads actually. It was fresh graduates' dreams, being part of management trainee. But after like three months of working there, I came to a realization that it wasn't what I wanted to do, each day of it I felt like I was gradually moving away from myself. The paycheck was great, really great actually, it was twice of most of my friends' paycheck per month. But not even $$ could back me off from my decision to resigned, simply because that wasn't what I wanted to do. But thank God, I got myself another job, and this is what I wanted to do, and when I look it all in a bigger picture, it is everything I've ever asked. Well... It's still not a perfect one, but for now, it's more than enough.This is what people called God's plan is beautiful in its time. Alhamdulillah.
But as just a normal person, there are something more that I wanted, like the feeling I could have this or I could have that, and I realize deep in my heart that I shouldn't be like this. I still can't figure out whether I'm just being ungrateful or this is just a guilt trip for being too comfy in my comfort zone. But on another side, I know I shouldn't take what I already have for granted. I should have thankful and grateful for what I have right now because there are others that have it less. I am continuously reminding myself and still learning to be content. I'm on my way there :)
